Anna Daniels grew up in Rockhampton in Central Qld, and loves to champion country Australia!

She has presented many positive, fun stories about rural and regional towns and characters for ‘The Project’, and for ‘Landline’. Anna is currently a guest presenter for the popular series ‘Backroads’ on ABC TV.

In 2018, Anna’s debut novel, ‘Girl In Between,’ was published in Australia and Germany, and became one of Australia’s highest selling debut novels for the year. It is a comedy-drama set in the Beef Capital of Rocky!

For any fans of the global hit kids show, ‘Bluey’, you may recognise Anna’s voice as that of Lucky’s Mum, Janelle! Anna features in the episodes, ‘Pass the Parcel’ and ‘The Decider’…which had her character supporting the Blues!! A role which Anna said required her to, ‘dig deep!’

Anna’s other achievements include co-winning the ABC’s ‘Comedy Segment of the Year Award’ for her radio interview with Russell Crowe, and co-creating the ABC’s first online sketch comedy series, ‘Tough at the Top’ with comedian, Anne Edmonds.
