Anna Daniels has recently joined the cast of Bluey in an ongoing role as Lucky’s Mum, Janelle. As a journalist, her funny, laidback storytelling style has been a hit on Network Ten’s The Project, where she has presented many stories championing rural and regional Australia. She has also presented for Network Ten’s Studio 10, Weekender on Seven and ABC TV’s Landline.
Previously, Anna co-won the ABC’s Comedy Segment of the Year Award for her radio interview with Russell Crowe, and co-created the ABC’s first online sketch comedy series, Tough at the Top with comedian, Anne Edmonds.
In 2016, her debut novel, Girl in Between, was shortlisted for The Australian/Vogel Award, and was published by Allen & Unwin in 2017. It became one of Australia’s highest selling debut novels and was reprinted in 2018, and published by Random House in Germany.
Anna is based in Sydney, and grew up in Rockhampton, in Central Queensland.
