										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Aaron Wilson is a director and writer, who was born in rural Australia and has lived and worked across the South-East Asia region. Aaron directed LITTLE TORNADOES (2021)<em>, </em>co-written alongside esteemed Australian writer Christos Tsiolkas, which premiered at Melbourne International Film Festival (MIFF) and received an Australian Directors Guild (ADG) Award for Best Direction in a Narrative Film (Budget Under $1M).</p>
<p>Aaron’s VR film, IOPU (2020)<em>,</em> following a queer Samoan-Australian performer about to take the stage, also premiered at MIFF and received an ADG Award for Best Direction in an Interactive or Immersive Project. In 2006, Aaron took part in a filmmaker residency program with Objectifs Centre for Filmmaking and Photography in Singapore. During this program, Aaron developed the script for his debut feature, CANOPY (2013), which premiered at Toronto International Film Festival.</p>
<p>Aaron has made several short films which have screened at more than 100 festivals, acquiring international sales and awards. His short films include MY NAME IS MARTIN (2012), WIND (2007) and TEN FEET TALL (2005). His film AHMAD’S GARDEN (2008) premiered at MIFF.</p>
<p>Aaron is currently in development on several feature projects and is also represented by Merv Makes (Australasia) and Chuan Pictures (South-East Asia) for commercials.</p>

										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Adele Vuko is an actress, writer, director and producer. She recently wrote an episode for the third series of THE TWELVE (Easy Tiger/Binge), which has been nominated for Best Drama Series at the 2026 Australian Academy of Cinema and Television Arts (AACTA) Awards.</p>
<p>In 2022, she directed her first feature CHRISTMAS RANSOM (Stan), and wrote an episode for the mini-series LOVE ME (Binge), which earned her an AACTA Award nomination for Best Screenplay in Television. Adele also wrote an episode in the second season. She is further credited with writing and performing in the comedy series<em>, </em>AT HOME ALONE TOGETHER (ABC)<em>, </em>which was nominated for an AACTA award for Best Comedy Series<em>, </em>and with directing the second series of SQUINTERS (ABC)<em>,</em> which was nominated for Best Comedy Series Production at the 2019 Screen Producers Australia (SPA) Awards. Adele additionally co-wrote on the first series of SQUINTERS.</p>
<p>Adele co–created and co–wrote the web series OVER AND OUT which won Best Comedy Series at Rio WebFest, Best Short Form Series at CannesSeries and Best Director at the London Short Film Festival. The project also received an AACTA Award nomination for Best Online Drama or Comedy in 2019. OVER AND OUT is currently in development for a television adaptation which Adele co-created, wrote and will perform in.</p>
<p>Adele is one-third of the comedy trio Skit Box, who have achieved over 100 million hits online for viral videos including parody music video ACTIVEWEAR<em> </em>(80 million views across Facebook and YouTube) and I GOT THAT FLOW<em> </em>(30 million views across Facebook and YouTube). Skit Box’s 2016 sketch television series WHAM BAM THANK YOU MA’AM, which Adele co-created, co-wrote and co-directed, screened on ABC and SEESO, and their follow up series SKIT BOX: THE SERIES, which received funding through Screen Australia’s Skip Ahead initiative.</p>
<p>Adele has trained at NIDA and ATYP in Sydney and at The Acting Corps in Los Angeles. She starred on-screen in television series including WE INTERRUPT THIS BROADCAST for Helium, DOM AND ADRIAN: 2020 for Easy Tiger, SANDO for Jungle, UNDERBELLY: RAZOR, SOUL MATES II, DEADBEAT DADS, sketch comedy shows THE ELEGANT GENTLEMAN’S GUIDE TO KNIFE FIGHTING and THIS IS LITTLETON. In film, Adele featured in the Australian feature NOT SUITABLE FOR CHILDREN (2012).</p>

										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Ainslie created, wrote and script produced the Paramount+ series PAPER DOLLS<em>, </em>produced by Helium Pictures. After making her writing debut on season one of Network Ten’s PLAYING FOR KEEPS<em>, </em>she wrote for Network Ten’s mystery-drama series MY LIFE IS MURDER<em> </em>and season two of PLAYING FOR KEEPS<em>. </em> Her previous television credits include Nine Network&#8217;s AMAZING GRACE and Acorn TV’s DARBY AND JOAN.</p>
<p>Ainslie’s independent series, 600 BOTTLES OF WINE<em> </em>which she directed and script edited, had its world premiere on BBC Three. The series also screened on BBC iPlayer, Netflix (Aus), ABC iView, YLE (Finland), iTunes (UK &amp; Aus), Google Play, (UK &amp; Aus), YLE (Finland), Sea Movies (cruise ships), the series screened on BBC Three, 10 Peach, 10 Play, Virgin Australia In-Flight Entertainment, TVNZ OnDemand and CBC (Canada).</p>
<p>Currently, Ainslie has several projects in development, including a half-hour comedy REBOOT in development with Photoplay Films, crime/comedy BEARCAT, co-created with Claire Phillips.  Ainslie most recently directed THE FIVE MINUTE CALL<em>, </em>a short form series co-produced by Arena Media and Cockatoo Co-Lab, and is directing short form series BOTTLE-O.</p>

										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Alan White is a Writer and Director. Born in London and raised in Australia, Alan has written and is set to direct the upcoming feature, STOKED!, based on the memoir by Bob McTavish, produced by Ambience Entertainment, starring Jai Courtney and Rasmus King.</p>
<p>Alan co-wrote and directed the feature-length documentary THE LIFE AND DEATH OF WESTERLY WINDINA which won Best Documentary at the 2024 London Surf Film Awards; Best Film at the Byron Bay International Film Festival, and Best Surf Film at Byron Bay International Film Festival. The documentary chronicles the life of surf icon Peter Drouyn and his controversial metamorphosis into Westerly Windina, produced by Beau Willimon (<em>House of Cards</em>, <em>Ides of March</em>). eOne have taken on the documentary for distribution.</p>
<p>Previously, he directed Lionsgate thriller RECLAIM, starring John Cusack, Ryan Phillippe and Jacki Weaver, as well as AFI’s BROKEN<em>, </em>starring Jeremy Sisto and Heather Graham.  Alan directed two critically acclaimed Australian films, ERSKINEVILLE KINGS starring Hugh Jackman and Joel Edgerton, and RISK starring Jason Clarke, which premiered at the Toronto Film Festival.</p>
<p>As a director of commercials and music videos, Alan has won every major international advertising award from Cannes Lions to CLIOs, and was the first director to win an Emmy for “Outstanding TV Commercial.”</p>
<p>As a writer Alan has most recently completed 10,000 HOURS for Taublieb Entertainment/Media X International adapting the hit Swedish film “10,000 TIMMAR”. He is currently attached as Director and Executive Producer of heist thriller THE STITCH UP.</p>

										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Alberto Di Troia is a writer and script producer who has worked extensively across both screen and theatre. Recently, Alberto served as the co-writer of Episode 2 and script producer on the crime drama THE SURVIVORS (Tony Ayres Productions/Netflix)<em>, </em>based on the bestselling novel by Jane Harper. The series reached #2 on the Netflix global streaming charts, ranked in the Top 10 in 85 countries, #1 in five countries and Top Five in territories including USA, UK, Canada and Australia. THE SURVIVORS has also been nominated for Best Miniseries at the 2026 Australian Academy of Cinema and Television Arts (AACTA) Awards.</p>
<p>In 2022, Alberto was the inaugural Victorian recipient of the SBS Emerging Writers Incubator, which saw him join Tony Ayres Productions (TAP) as a development assistant. In this role, he contributed to several TAP/ABC projects; writing on the children’s TV series THE SPOOKY FILES and script coordinating on the critically-acclaimed FIRES<em>.</em></p>
<p>Alberto is also the Co-Director of award-winning performance company Stage Mom, which produced his plays TRULY MADLY BRITNEY (Theatre Works, 2019) and LOVE YOU BITCH (Theatre Works, 2019). TRULY MADLY BRITNEY was presented in Melbourne Theatre Company’s Cyber Electric season and is currently taught on the syllabus of La Trobe University’s performance writing course. With Stage Mom, Alberto also co-created the live art works I STILL HAVEN’T FOUND WHAT I’M COOKING FOR (which has toured nationally) and LOVE ME (BAR)TENDER (commissioned by Darwin Festival and remounted at Arts House Melbourne). Alberto has received project funding from Creative Victoria, The City of Melbourne, Midsumma Festival and was a Besen Family Writers Placement at Malthouse Theatre.</p>
<p>Alberto has also worked extensively in film post-production, including as a freelance editor and in-house at Melbourne-based firm The Butchery. He was the Artistic Director of INTO THE LIMELIGHT, a major community filmmaking program for participants living with mental illness, which premiered in a sidebar at the St Kilda Film Festival. Finally, he is also a graduate of the Bachelor of Fine Arts (Film &amp; Television) and the Master of Writing for Performance at the Victorian College of the Arts.</p>

										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Alies is a screenwriter and director. In 2022, she directed an episode of hit ABC comedy series AFTERTASTE, starring Erik Thomson, Rachel Griffiths and Natalie Abbott. Her TV series, THE ASTROGIRL COLUMN, produced by Film Camp (Brazen Hussies, Galore) is currently in development and she has worked as a script producer for companies including Stan, SBS, Closer Productions and Highview Productions. She’s also a 2020 BAFTA Newcomer, a Berlinale Talent and General Sir John Monash Scholar.</p>
<p>Her short film, AYAAN was longlisted for an Academy Award® and screened worldwide, winning 30+ awards including an Australian Directors Guild Award, Best International Short at Show Me Shorts Festival (NZ), Best Short Fiction and Best Tertiary Fiction at the ATOM Awards and Best Short Film at CinefestOZ amongst many others. AYAAN was also nominated for an AWGIE, a Dendy Award at Sydney Film Festival and the Grand Prix at Tampere International Film Festival. Her second short, MYTH was selected for the 2022 Melbourne International Film Festival, garnered Alies a 2023 Australian Directors Guild Award nomination for Best Direction in a Short Film, and won the Rebel 8 Outstanding Emerging Female Director Award at the 2023 Flickerfest International Short Film Festival.</p>
<p>Prior to becoming a director, Alies worked as a violinist and AACTA nominated film and TV composer, performing in over 55 countries with artists including Nitin Sawhney, Sylvie Guillem, Akram Khan, Sidi Larbi Cherkaoui and Antony Gormley. She also musically directed Laurence Olivier Award and Time Out Critics Award (UK) nominated productions. She holds an MFA (with honours) from Columbia University, where she studied on a full scholarship and was awarded the university’s top screenwriting prize &#8211; the Ezra Litwak Award, as well as the School of the Arts Arthur J. Memorial Prize and a Screenwriting Fellowship.</p>

										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Alma De Groen was the first playwright to win the Patrick White Literary Award for her contribution to Australian theatre. Alma currently lives in New Zealand, with her plays still being performed both in Australia and around the world –<em>Wicked Sisters </em>recently played in Poland, and <em>The Rivers of China </em>is being translated for performance in France.</p>
<p>Alma’s first play, <em>The Sweatproof Boy</em> was presented at the Nimrod Street Theatre in 1972, and <em>The After-Life of Arthur Cravan</em> had a season the same year at Jane Street Theatre, Sydney. This was followed by <em>Going Home</em> and <em>Chidley</em> both of which had their premiere seasons in Melbourne. Alma De Groen was awarded the 1985 AWGIE award for her television adaptation of <em>Man of Letters, </em>and she also wrote a telemovie, <em>After Marcuse</em>, and television series <em>Singles</em> and <em>Rafferty’s Rules. The Rivers of China</em> premiered at the Sydney Theatre Company, winning the Premier’s Literary Award for Drama in both New South Wales and Victoria. <em>The Girl Who Saw Everything</em> premiered at the Russell Street Theatre in Melbourne in 1991 and won the 1993 AWGIE for best stage play.</p>

										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Amy Stewart is an award-winning writer. Amy’s recent writing credits include the second seasons of AUSTIN (Northern Pictures), and STRIFE (Binge), both of which have been nominated for Best Comedy Series at the 2026 Australian Academy of Cinema and Television Arts (AACTA) Awards.  Her other recent credits include WELLMANIA (Netflix), GOLD DIGGERS (ABC), and HARDBALL (Northern Pictures).</p>
<p>Amy is also well versed in writing children’s television, having written on BEEP AND MORT (Windmill/ABC), for which her episode “Friends At First Snow” won a 2025 Australian Writers’ Guild Award (AWGIE), and her episode “My New Best Friend” secured a nomination. Additionally, she has written on PLAYSCHOOL (ABC), and worked in development rooms for CLASS OF ’07 (Amazon), and THE HEIGHTS (ABC).</p>
<p>In 2022, Amy was a participant in Netflix GrowCreative’s The Writer’s Journey Lab. Her talent was also recognised by Belvoir Theatre’s Shutdown Residencies program in 2020, which awarded her development funding for her play YOLO. She similarly received $30,000 in development funding in 2019 after being named the inaugural winner of Screen Australia’s Pitcher Perfect competition with her dystopian comedy series RETURN TO SENDER.</p>
<p>Finally, adding to her list of achievements, Amy was named as a recipient of Screen Australia’s Developing the Developer funding through which she undertook a placement with Matchbox Pictures in 2018. Her upcoming projects include two original series with Northern Pictures, as well as the children’s series CAPER CREW (Easy Tiger), and DANCE SPIES (Northern Pictures/ Netflix). As a Eurasian woman living with a neurological disability, Amy is passionate about creating and contributing to stories that represent Australia’s diversity in a meaningful and authentic way.</p>

										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Andrew Upton was the Co-Artistic Director and Co-CEO of the Sydney Theatre Company (STC) from 2008 to 2012, acting as the sole Artistic Director from 2013 to 2015. His play THE PRESENT, an adaptation of Chekhov’s PLATONOV, played on Broadway after its successful world premiere at the STC.</p>
<p>As a theatre director, Andrew made his debut in 2006 with his translation of DISSIDENT<em>, </em>GOES WITHOUT SAYING for Wharf2Loud, and later that same year went on to direct David Mamet’s REUNION. His co-written production THE MAIDS premiered at the STC in 2013 and was performed as part of the Lincoln Centre Festival at the New York City Centre in 2014. Andrew directed A LONG DAY’S JOURNEY INTO NIGHT starring William Hurt in a co-production between the STC and Artists Repertory Theatre. His other work for the STC includes his adaptations of DON JUAN, THE CHERRY ORCHARD, UNCLE VANYA, WAITING FOR GODOT, A FLEA IN HER EAR, CHILDREN OF THE SUN, THE WHITE GUARD, CYRANO DE BERGERAC, WAITING FOR GODOT, ENDGAME, HEDDA GABLER, his co-adaptation FACE TO FACE, and his original plays HANGING MAN and RIFLEMIND, many of which he also directed.</p>
<p>Andrew has also written for the screen, including the short film REUNION as part of the compendium feature adaptation of Tim Winton’s THE TURNING. For Working Title Films, he co-wrote the feature GONE. He also adapted FOUCAULT’S PENDULUM, AMONGST THIEVES and DUPLICATE KEYS. Under his production company banner, Dirty Films, Andrew wrote, directed and produced the short film BANGERS, the feature STORIES OF LOST SOULS, and additionally served as associate producer for the award-winning LITTLE FISH. In 2015, he Executive Produced the critically acclaimed film CAROL, and in 2023, produced the feature FINGERNAILS, starring Carey Mulligan.</p>

										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Anna Barnes is an award-winning playwright, screenwriter and author. She most recently wrote on the second series of the critically acclaimed drama THE TWELVE (Binge)<em>, </em>which received a 2025 Logie Award nomination for Best Drama Program. As the creator of SAFE HOME (SBS), Anna wrote the pilot episode, for which she won the Betty Roland Prize for Scriptwriting at the 2024 NSW Premier’s Literary Awards. The project was additionally nominated in the Best Miniseries category at both the 2024 Australian Academy of Cinema and Television Arts (AACTA) Awards and TV Week Logie Awards.</p>
<p>Previously, Anna wrote CONTENT, Australia’s first vertical video series for Ludo Studios and ABC TV, garnering an Australian Writers&#8217; Guild (AWGIE) Award win for Best Web Series and nominations for several other awards, including an International Emmy for Best Short-Form, a Rose D’Or for Best Social Media and Video Series, and an AACTA for Best Online Drama or Comedy. In 2017, she won an AWGIE for the geolocative story app GHOSTS OF BILEOLA.</p>
<p>For television, Anna is further credited with serving as a contributing writer on the second season of the children’s show THE STRANGE CHORES (Ludo/ABC), and as head writer and co-producer of the comedy series RETROGRADE (ABC), which was filmed in isolation and follows a group of thirty-something friends during the COVID-19 pandemic.</p>
<p>As a playwright, Anna’s work has been performed around Australia. Her play LETHAL INDIFFERENCE opened at the Sydney Theatre Company in February 2018 and was subsequently highly commended by Victoria Premier’s Literary Awards. Likewise, her writing has been published in Kill Your Darlings, Killings, The Lifted Brow and The Age. Anna’s novel GIRL! THE ULTIMATE GUIDE TO BEING YOU (Penguin 2012) was named as one of the 2013 Eva Pownall Notable Books by the Children’s Book Council of Australia.</p>
<p>In 2007, she was the winner of the British Council’s Realise Your Dream award, facilitating her to study playwriting at Royal Court Theatre, London, UK. In 2012, she collaborated with comic artist Sara Drake (USA) to tell the story of losing her sense of smell for Radio, with Pictures at the Sydney Opera House. She won Sydney Theatre Company’s Patrick White Playwright’s Award in 2013 for her play, MINUSONESISTER<em>,</em> ultimately published by Currency Press in 2017.</p>
<p>Currently, Anna has a number of television series in development, including projects with See Saw Films, BBC Studios ANZ and Wooden Horse.</p>

										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Anthony Mullins is a BAFTA and AWGIE award-winning writer and script producer with several high concept television projects in development. In 2022, Anthony was a finalist in the Queensland Premier’s Drama Awards for his play <em>The Norman Mailer Anecdote.</em> In 2021, Anthony released his acclaimed screenwriting book <em>Beyond the Hero’s Journey</em> which has since been published in the UK, US and will be released in China in 2023.</p>
<p>From 2015 – 2017 Anthony was a Development Executive for Matchbox Pictures where he developed and script edited <em>Safe Harbour, </em>winner of the 2019 International Emmy for Best Mini-Series. He then went on to script produce the fourth season of <em>Nowhere Boys</em> (for ABC and Matchbox Pictures) and the first season of <em>Five Bedrooms </em>(for Channel 10 and Hoodlum).</p>
<p>Anthony was the creative director of Hoodlum on several award-winning interactive projects for high-end film and television productions; including <em>Lost, Spooks, Primeval, Salt </em>and <em>The Bourne Legacy</em>. These interactive projects earned him numerous awards including a Primetime Emmy, an International Digital Emmy, two BAFTAs and five AWG awards (including the prestigious John Hinde Award for Science Fiction).</p>
<p>In 2012, Anthony was a nominee for the Queensland Literary award for Best Television Script for his writing on popular comedy <em>The Strange Calls</em>. Anthony’s 2011 television documentary<em>, The Curse of the Gothic Symphony</em>, won the AWG Award for Best Broadcast Documentary. Anthony’s short films and documentaries have competed in some of the world’s most prestigious international film festivals, including Cannes Film Festival, Aspen Shortsfest, Karlovy Vary International Film Festival and South by SouthWest.</p>

										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Ashlee Page is a multi-award-winning writer and director. Her short film <em>The Kiss</em>, funded by Screen Australia and the SAFC, was adapted from a Peter Goldsworthy short story and screened at Busan, Clermont-Ferrand, Palm Springs and Tribeca film festivals. The film received several prestigious awards including two AFI Awards, the Sydney Film Festival Dendy Award for Best Short, and the 2010 Melbourne International Film Festival Award for Emerging Australian Filmmaker.</p>
<p>The Wall Street Journal describes <em>The Kiss</em> as ‘a stand out short film’ and Shorts of the Week write ‘this film is a revelation…superior in almost every regard&#8230; 10/10’. Ashlee’s previous credits include writer and director of the award-winning comedy <em>Layover</em>, a self-funded short film that sold to cable TV in the US and screened widely both nationally and internationally.</p>
<p>Ashlee wrote and directed the <em>On Her Knees</em> chapter of the film compendium <em>The Turning</em>, adapted from the novel of interconnected short stories by Tim Winton, which premiered at the Melbourne International Film Festival followed by a gala screening at Berlinale.</p>
