Anthony Mullins is an accomplished writer, director and script producer with several television projects in development. From 2015 – 2017 Anthony was the Development Executive for Matchbox Pictures, based in their Brisbane office. He then went on to script produce the fourth season of Nowhere Boys for Matchbox Pictures. Anthony also script produced Five Bedrooms, created by Michael Lucas and produced by Hoodlum.
Anthony was the creative director of Hoodlum, a leading multi-platform studio, on several award-winning interactive projects for film and television productions; including Lost, Spooks, Primeval, Salt and The Bourne Legacy. These interactive projects earned him awards include a Primetime Emmy, an International Digital Emmy, two BAFTAs and five AWG awards.
In 2012, Anthony was a nominee for the Queensland Literary award for Best Television Script for his writing on popular drama The Strange Calls. Anthony’s 2011 television documentary, The Curse of the Gothic Symphony, won the AWGIE Award for Best Broadcast Documentary. Anthony’s short films and documentaries have competed in some of the world’s most prestigious international film festivals, including Cannes Film Festival, Aspen Shortsfest, Karlovy Vary International Film Festival and South by SouthWest (SXSW).
