										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Aaron Wilson is a director and writer, who was born in rural Australia and has lived and worked across the South-East Asia region.</p>
<p>Aaron directed LITTLE TORNADOES (2021)<em>, </em>co-written alongside esteemed Australian writer Christos Tsiolkas, which premiered at Melbourne International Film Festival (MIFF) and received an Australian Directors Guild (ADG) Award for Best Direction in a Narrative Film (Budget Under $1M).</p>
<p>Aaron’s VR film, IOPU (2020)<em>,</em> following a queer Samoan-Australian performer about to take the stage, also premiered at MIFF and received an ADG Award for Best Direction in an Interactive or Immersive Project.</p>
<p>In 2006, Aaron took part in a filmmaker residency program with Objectifs Centre for Filmmaking and Photography in Singapore. During this program, Aaron developed the script for his debut feature, CANOPY (2013), which premiered at Toronto International Film Festival.</p>
<p>Aaron has made several short films which have screened at more than 100 festivals, acquiring international sales and awards. His short films include MY NAME IS MARTIN (2012), WIND (2007) and TEN FEET TALL (2005). His film AHMAD’S GARDEN (2008) premiered at MIFF.</p>
<p>Aaron is currently in development on several feature projects and is also represented by Merv Makes (Australasia) and Chuan Pictures (South-East Asia) for commercials.</p>

										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Adele Vuko is an actress, writer, director and producer. She recently wrote an episode for the third series of THE TWELVE (Easy Tiger/Binge), which was nominated for Best Drama Series at both the 2026 Australian Academy of Cinema and Television Arts (AACTA) Awards, and the Screen Producers Australia (SPA) Awards.</p>
<p>In 2022, she directed her first feature CHRISTMAS RANSOM (Stan), and wrote an episode for the mini-series LOVE ME (Binge), which earned her an AACTA Award nomination for Best Screenplay in Television. Adele also wrote an episode in the second season. She is further credited with writing and performing in the comedy series<em>, </em>AT HOME ALONE TOGETHER (ABC)<em>, </em>which was nominated for an AACTA award for Best Comedy Series<em>, </em>and with directing the second series of SQUINTERS (ABC)<em>,</em> which was nominated for Best Comedy Series Production at the 2019 SPA Awards. Adele additionally co-wrote on the first series of SQUINTERS.</p>
<p>Adele co–created and co–wrote the web series OVER AND OUT which won Best Comedy Series at Rio WebFest, Best Short Form Series at CannesSeries and Best Director at the London Short Film Festival. The project also received an AACTA Award nomination for Best Online Drama or Comedy in 2019. OVER AND OUT is currently in development for a television adaptation which Adele co-created, wrote and will perform in.</p>
<p>Adele is one-third of the comedy trio Skit Box, who have achieved over 100 million hits online for viral videos including parody music video ACTIVEWEAR<em> </em>(80 million views across Facebook and YouTube) and I GOT THAT FLOW<em> </em>(30 million views across Facebook and YouTube). Skit Box’s 2016 sketch television series WHAM BAM THANK YOU MA’AM, which Adele co-created, co-wrote and co-directed, screened on ABC and SEESO, and their follow up series SKIT BOX: THE SERIES, which received funding through Screen Australia’s Skip Ahead initiative.</p>
<p>Adele has trained at NIDA and ATYP in Sydney and at The Acting Corps in Los Angeles. She starred on-screen in television series including WE INTERRUPT THIS BROADCAST for Helium, DOM AND ADRIAN: 2020 for Easy Tiger, SANDO for Jungle, UNDERBELLY: RAZOR, SOUL MATES II, DEADBEAT DADS, sketch comedy shows THE ELEGANT GENTLEMAN’S GUIDE TO KNIFE FIGHTING and THIS IS LITTLETON. In film, Adele featured in the Australian feature NOT SUITABLE FOR CHILDREN (2012).</p>

										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Alan White is a Writer and Director. Born in London and raised in Australia, Alan has written and is set to direct the upcoming feature, STOKED!, based on the memoir by Bob McTavish, produced by Ambience Entertainment, starring Jai Courtney and Rasmus King.</p>
<p>Alan co-wrote and directed the feature-length documentary THE LIFE AND DEATH OF WESTERLY WINDINA which won Best Documentary at the 2024 London Surf Film Awards; Best Film at the Byron Bay International Film Festival, and Best Surf Film at Byron Bay International Film Festival. The documentary chronicles the life of surf icon Peter Drouyn and his controversial metamorphosis into Westerly Windina, produced by Beau Willimon (<em>House of Cards</em>, <em>Ides of March</em>). eOne have taken on the documentary for distribution.</p>
<p>Previously, he directed Lionsgate thriller RECLAIM, starring John Cusack, Ryan Phillippe and Jacki Weaver, as well as AFI’s BROKEN<em>, </em>starring Jeremy Sisto and Heather Graham.  Alan directed two critically acclaimed Australian films, ERSKINEVILLE KINGS starring Hugh Jackman and Joel Edgerton, and RISK starring Jason Clarke, which premiered at the Toronto Film Festival.</p>
<p>As a director of commercials and music videos, Alan has won every major international advertising award from Cannes Lions to CLIOs, and was the first director to win an Emmy for “Outstanding TV Commercial.”</p>
<p>As a writer Alan has most recently completed 10,000 HOURS for Taublieb Entertainment/Media X International adapting the hit Swedish film “10,000 TIMMAR”. He is currently attached as Director and Executive Producer of heist thriller THE STITCH UP.</p>

										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Alies Sluiter is an awarded screenwriter and director. In 2022, she directed an episode of hit comedy series AFTERTASTE (ABC), starring Erik Thomson, Rachel Griffiths and Natalie Abbott.</p>
<p>She has worked as a script producer for companies including Stan, SBS, Closer Productions and Highview Productions, and is a BAFTA Newcomer, Berlinale Talent and General Sir John Monash Scholar.</p>
<p>Her short film, AYAAN (2020) was longlisted for an Academy Award® and screened worldwide, winning 30+ awards including an Australian Directors Guild (ADG) Award, Best International Short at Show Me Shorts Festival (NZ), Best Short Fiction and Best Tertiary Fiction at the ATOM Awards and Best Short Film at CinefestOZ, amongst many others.</p>
<p>AYAAN was also nominated for an Australian Writers’ Guild (AWGIE) Award, a Dendy Award at Sydney Film Festival and the Grand Prix at Tampere International Film Festival.</p>
<p>Her second short, MYTH (2022) was selected for the Melbourne International Film Festival, received an ADG Award nomination for Best Direction in a Short Film, and won the Rebel 8 Outstanding Emerging Female Director Award at Flickerfest.</p>
<p>Her most recent short, BOY ON FIRE (2023) won the LUMIX Award for Best Australian Short Film (Academy® Qualifying) at Flickerfest.</p>
<p>Prior to becoming a director, Alies worked as a violinist and film and TV composer, performing in over 55 countries with artists including Nitin Sawhney, Sylvie Guillem, Akram Khan, Sidi Larbi Cherkaoui and Antony Gormley.</p>
<p>She also musically directed Laurence Olivier Award and Time Out Critics Award (UK) nominated productions.</p>
<p>She holds an MFA (with honours) from Columbia University, where she studied on a full scholarship and was awarded the university’s top screenwriting prize – the Ezra Litwak Award, as well as the School of the Arts Arthur J. Memorial Prize and a Screenwriting Fellowship.</p>

										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Andrew Upton was the Co-Artistic Director and Co-CEO of the Sydney Theatre Company (STC) from 2008 to 2012, acting as the sole Artistic Director from 2013 to 2015. His play THE PRESENT, an adaptation of Chekhov’s PLATONOV, played on Broadway after its successful world premiere at the STC.</p>
<p>As a theatre director, Andrew made his debut in 2006 with his translation of DISSIDENT<em>, </em>GOES WITHOUT SAYING for Wharf2Loud, and later that same year went on to direct David Mamet’s REUNION. His co-written production THE MAIDS premiered at the STC in 2013 and was performed as part of the Lincoln Centre Festival at the New York City Centre in 2014. Andrew directed A LONG DAY’S JOURNEY INTO NIGHT starring William Hurt in a co-production between the STC and Artists Repertory Theatre. His other work for the STC includes his adaptations of DON JUAN, THE CHERRY ORCHARD, UNCLE VANYA, WAITING FOR GODOT, A FLEA IN HER EAR, CHILDREN OF THE SUN, THE WHITE GUARD, CYRANO DE BERGERAC, WAITING FOR GODOT, ENDGAME, HEDDA GABLER, his co-adaptation FACE TO FACE, and his original plays HANGING MAN and RIFLEMIND, many of which he also directed.</p>
<p>Andrew has also written for the screen, including the short film REUNION as part of the compendium feature adaptation of Tim Winton’s THE TURNING. For Working Title Films, he co-wrote the feature GONE. He also adapted FOUCAULT’S PENDULUM, AMONGST THIEVES and DUPLICATE KEYS. Under his production company banner, Dirty Films, Andrew wrote, directed and produced the short film BANGERS, the feature STORIES OF LOST SOULS, and additionally served as associate producer for the award-winning LITTLE FISH. In 2015, he Executive Produced the critically acclaimed film CAROL, and in 2023, produced the feature FINGERNAILS, starring Carey Mulligan.</p>

										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Ashlee Page is a multi-award-winning writer and director. Her short film <em>The Kiss</em>, funded by Screen Australia and the SAFC, was adapted from a Peter Goldsworthy short story and screened at Busan, Clermont-Ferrand, Palm Springs and Tribeca film festivals. The film received several prestigious awards including two AFI Awards, the Sydney Film Festival Dendy Award for Best Short, and the 2010 Melbourne International Film Festival Award for Emerging Australian Filmmaker.</p>
<p>The Wall Street Journal describes <em>The Kiss</em> as ‘a stand out short film’ and Shorts of the Week write ‘this film is a revelation…superior in almost every regard&#8230; 10/10’. Ashlee’s previous credits include writer and director of the award-winning comedy <em>Layover</em>, a self-funded short film that sold to cable TV in the US and screened widely both nationally and internationally.</p>
<p>Ashlee wrote and directed the <em>On Her Knees</em> chapter of the film compendium <em>The Turning</em>, adapted from the novel of interconnected short stories by Tim Winton, which premiered at the Melbourne International Film Festival followed by a gala screening at Berlinale.</p>

										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Belinda Chayko is an award-winning writer and director of film and television.</p>
<p>Belinda wrote on THE SURVIVORS (Tony Ayres Productions/Netflix), based on best-selling author Jane Harper’s novel. In 2025, the series reached #2 on the Netflix global streaming charts, ranked in the Top 10 in 85 countries, #1 in five countries and Top Five in territories including USA, UK, Canada and Australia.</p>
<p>Belinda was the co-creator and showrunner on the series FIRES (Tony Ayres Productions/ABC), which won an Australian Academy of Cinema and Television Arts (AACTA) Award for Best Miniseries and a TV Week Silver Logie for Most Outstanding Miniseries.</p>
<p>Belinda was also the co-creator and showrunner on SAFE HARBOUR (Matchbox Pictures), which received an International Emmy for Best Television Series, an AACTA Award for Best Screenplay in Television, and a Silver Bird Prize at the Seoul International Drama Awards.</p>
<p>Her other writing credits for television include PROSPER (Lingo Pictures/Stan); OLD SCHOOL (Matchbox Pictures); NEWTON’S LAW (Every Cloud Productions); MISS FISHER’S MURDER MYSTERIES (Every Cloud Productions); FIGHTING SEASON (Goalpost Pictures); SECRET CITY (Matchbox Pictures/Netflix); BARRACUDA (ABC), for which she received an Australian Writers Guild Award (AWGIE) Award; and STATELESS (Matchbox Pictures/ABC/Netflix).</p>
<p>STATELESS, starring Cate Blanchett and Dominic West, received AWGIE nomination for Best Series, a C21 Media Award Nomination for Best International Miniseries, and a Screen Producers Australia (SPA) Award for Best TV Miniseries.</p>
<p>Belinda wrote and directed the feature LOU (2010), starring John Hurt, which screened in competition at Busan, Rome, and Palm Springs. LOU won the Audience Award for Best Feature at Festival International de Films de Femmes de Créteil, and the Grand Jury Prize at St Tropez Film Festival. Her debut feature, CITY LOOP (2000), premiered at Toronto International Film Festival.</p>

										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Bharat Nalluri is a BAFTA and Emmy® nominated director. Born in India, he moved to the UK at a young age and spent the last five years living and working in the US before moving to Australia in 2019.</p>
<p>Bharat’s recent work includes BOY SWALLOWS UNIVERSE (2024)<em>, </em>the television adaptation of the popular novel of the same name by Trent Dalton. Made for Netflix, the series achieved great success with Bharat at the helm; taking home the award for Best Miniseries at the TV Week Logies and the Australian Academy of Cinema and Television Arts (AACTA) Awards. Bharat also received an AACTA Award for Best Direction in a Drama for his work on the first episode.</p>
<p>Bharat directed the Disney+ and Princess Pictures series LAST DAYS OF THE SPACE AGE (2024)<em>, </em>a dramedy set in Perth in 1979. Bharat also directed the Apple TV+, Anonymous Content and Paramount Television series SHANTARAM (2022), based on the novel of the same name by Gregory David Roberts.</p>
<p>Bharat’s film credits include THE MAN WHO INVENTED CHRISTMAS (2017) starring Christopher Plummer, Jonathon Pryce and Dan Stevens; SPOOKS: THE GREATER GOOD (2015), a spin-off from the hugely popular BBC television series starring Kit Harrington; and MISS PETTIGREW LIVES FOR A DAY (2008), starring Amy Adams and Frances McDormand.</p>
<p>Bharat received an Emmy® nomination for directing HBO’s powerful drama TSUNAMI: THE AFTERMATH (2006)<em>,</em> starring Tim Roth, Toni Collette, Chiwetel Ejiofor and producer Finola Dwyer.</p>
<p>Bharat set the modern standard for British television drama, directing the pilots for the BAFTA and International Emmy® award-winning LIFE ON MARS (2006) and the BAFTA award-winning<em> </em>SPOOKS (2002). Bharat helped conceive HUSTLE (2004), which was nominated for UK Directors Guild award, and Russell T. Davis’ TORCHWOOD (2011)<em>.</em></p>
<p>He has worked extensively in the US directing numerous pilots including THE 100 (2014) for CW/CBS/Warner Studios. More recently, he worked on the critically acclaimed drama LITTLE AMERICA (2020) for Apple TV+, which was nominated for a BAFTA for Best International Series. Bharat has been announced for the upcoming Anna Kendrick feature UNSOUND.</p>
<p>He recently stepped into the audio space, directing THE ORCHARD (2021)<em> </em>series for Audible and Princess Pictures with Eric Bana.</p>
<p>Bharat currently has a number of projects in development.</p>

										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Brooke Goldfinch was an ABC news reporter in her hometown of Sydney before she moved to New York to pursue her ambition of becoming a filmmaker. She was a scholarship student in NYU’s prestigious graduate film program at the Tisch School of the Arts, where she was taught by Spike Lee, Todd Solondz and many other notable professors.</p>
<p>Whilst at NYU, Brooke was selected by actor/director James Franco to write and direct a segment of the compendium feature film THE COLOR OF TIME (2012), starring Jessica Chastain, Mila Kunis and Henry Hopper.</p>
<p>Brooke received one of four places in the Lexus Australia Short Film Fellowship, the outcome was Brooke’s short OUTBREAK GENERATION (2017). The film screened at Flickerfest and Sydney Film Festival. Brooke was also a Directors Attachment on Ridley Scott’s ALIEN: COVENANT (2016), allowing her to hone her craft shadowing one of the greatest living directors.</p>
<p>After her time at NYU, Brooke returned to Sydney after receiving a Screen Australia Talent Escalator Grant for her short RED ROVER (2015), for which she received Best Director at St Kilda Film Festival, and Best Director at Sydney Film Festival. The film follows two evangelist teenagers in rural America during the final days of Earth.</p>
<p>Her other shorts include SEXY (2015)<em>,</em> which won the CINE Golden Eagle Award; PEN PAL (2011), which screened at Glasgow, Edinburgh, Cucalorus; and TWO LADIES AND A GENTLEMAN (2011), which screened at the Sarasota Film Festival.</p>
<p>In addition to her work as a writer and director, Brooke was script supervisor on director Jay Anania’s THE LETTER (2012), starring Winona Rider and James Franco. She has also worked extensively as an Editor and Assistant Editor.</p>
<p>Brooke is currently developing feature and television projects.</p>

										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Cathy Randall is a writer and director whose debut feature, HEY, HEY, IT’S ESTHER BLUEBURGER (2008), starring Toni Collette and Keisha Castle-Hughes, premiered at Berlin Film Festival.</p>
<p>Cathy received the prize for Best Director at Hamburg Film Festival, and the screenplay was nominated for an AFI (AACTA) Award, an Australian Writer’s Guild (AWGIE) Award, and was shortlisted for the NSW Premier’s Literary Award.</p>
<p>Cathy wrote the sequel to NIM’S ISLAND (2008), RETURN TO NIM’S ISLAND (2013), for Walden Media, which starred Jodie Foster and Abigail Breslin.</p>
<p>She co-wrote the feature TRUE SPIRIT (2023) for Netflix<em>,</em> based on Jessica Watson’s solo sailing journey around the world, directed by Sarah Spillane.</p>
<p>Cathy’s latest feature screenplay, SANTA WHITEBEARD was runner up in the Animal Logic’s 2021 Screenplay Contest and was one of two projects chosen by Dame Changer’s 2021 Project to Market Accelerator initiative to help finance outstanding female lead projects.</p>
<p>Cathy has several projects in development including three television series, two of which she created / co-created, and a feature screenplay.</p>

										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Charlotte Mars (they/them) is a filmmaker working across fiction and documentary, with a focus on stories exploring power, marginalisation, and LGBTQIA+ identity. Charlotte wrote and directed the award-winning short GIRL AND BODY (2019), which premiered at Berlinale, Palm Springs, and Melbourne International Film Festival.</p>
<p>Charlotte was a Women’s International Film and Television Society honouree for their work as producer and co-writer of award-winning feature documentary GAYBY BABY (2015), directed by Maya Newell. GAYBY BABY played at more than 50 festivals worldwide, sparking conversations about LGBTQIA+ families and helping promote same-sex marriage rights.</p>
<p>Charlotte has also been awarded the Australian International Screen Forum Screen Scholarship, and was the Documentary Australia Foundation and Create NSW SheDoc Fellow.</p>
<p>Previously, Charlotte was a Development Executive at NBCU’s Matchbox Pictures working on GLITCH, SECRET CITY, DEVIL’S PLAYGROUND, DEADLINE GALLIPOLI, and THE FAMILY LAW, amongst others.</p>
<p>Charlotte was mentored by Cate Shortland while directing their first scripted short, AWAKE (2013). This was followed by Charlotte’s ABC documentary GROWING UP GAYBY (2013), directed by Maya Newell, which was their first film as a producer and co-writer.</p>
<p>Charlotte also co-authored a children’s book, WRESTLE! (2019), published by Allen &amp; Unwin.</p>
<p>They have a television series and several feature projects in development.</p>

<p>Cherie&#8217;s career has spanned film and television in Australia and the USA. Her many credits include some of Netflix’s biggest hits – YOU, OUTERBANKS<em>, </em>and CLICKBAIT – as well as Amazon&#8217;s SNEAKY PETE and THE WILDS (nominated for a GLADD Award), as well as Hulu’s REPRISAL, and<em> </em>Marvel’s HELSTROM</p>
<p>She directed two US pilots including MISTRESSES, as well as SUITS<em>,</em> ANIMAL KINGDOM, SEAL TEAM, HOW TO GET AWAY WITH MURDER, GREY&#8217;S ANATOMY<em>,</em> THE GOOD DOCTOR, LAW &amp; ORDER: ORGANISED CRIME, CHICAGO MED, CHICAGO PD, RIVERDALE and the comedy series<em>, </em>YOUNG ROCK, CLAWS and SPEECHLESS.</p>
<p>Cherie&#8217;s Australian credits include the multi award-winning limited series, MARKING TIME (ABC), for which Cherie won an AFI (AACTA) Award for Best Director.</p>
<p>Her 2007 feature, CLUBLAND (aka INTRODUCING THE DWIGHTS), starring Brenda Blethyn, premiered at Sundance and was nominated for 11 AFI Awards including Best Director and Best Actress. Cherie’s debut feature,<em> </em>THANK GOD HE MET LIZZIE (1997), starred Cate Blanchett, Frances O’Connor and Richard Roxburgh, and was nominated for 5 AFI Awards.
