Her extensive credits include episodes of The Rookie, Tell Me Your Secrets, Claws, Instinct, The Good Doctor, Sneaky Pete, Animal Kingdom, Speechless, How to Get Away With Murder, Chicago P.D., Legends of Tomorrow, Rosewood, The Mysteries Of Laura, Suits, Satisfaction, Blood And Oil, Grey’s Anatomy, Rake, The Messengers, Life Unexpected, 90210 and Gossip Girl. She has also directed two pilots for ABC Studios/ABC Network including the pilot for Mistresses.
Cherie’s Australian television credits include the acclaimed Underbelly: Razor series as well as the telemovie, Underbelly Files: The Man Who Got Away, the multi award-winning ABC mini-series Marking Time – which won seven AFI awards, including Best Director – Packed to the Rafters, Dance Academy, The Secret Life Of Us, The Alice, Small Claims and All Saints.
Cherie’s feature film, Clubland (aka Introducing the Dwights), starring Oscar nominee Brenda Blethyn, was nominated for 11 AFI awards including Best Director and Best Actress. Cherie’s first feature film, Thank God He Met Lizzie, starred Cate Blanchett, Frances O’Connor and Richard Roxburgh, and was nominated for five AFI awards in 1997.
