Nicholas Burton recently completed production on the second season of the popular Disney+ series THE ARTFUL DODGER alongside Maia Mitchell, Thomas Brodie-Sangster and David Thewlis. He was last seen on screen in the second season of the Binge series STRIFE, ABC comedy series OPTICS and the Stan crime drama CRITICAL INCIDENT. He will next be seen in the upcoming US Netflix series EAST OF EDEN directed by Garth Davies and starring Florence Pugh.

Nicholas’ other recent credits include Raghuvir Joshi’s feature film COMPANION, Paramount+ series PAPER DOLLS, SBS miniseries SAFE HOME, Netflix drama series PIECES OF HER opposite Toni Collette, Jessica Barden and David Wenham and the AACTA Award nominated Australian ABC drama series BARONS.

Nicholas was the lead in the Australian feature film DAMAGED and recently played the lead role in the short film KAR, which premiered at the Melbourne International Film Festival and won him a Best Actor award on the festival circuit. Nicholas has starred in short films JACK RABBIT which screened at Clermont-Ferrand International Short Film Festival and GRADUATION directed by Emmy winner Madeleine Parry.

Five years ago, Nicholas co-founded Granny Flat Comedy Productions, writing, directing, and starring in a range of high-quality cinematic online sketches and serial content. In the past two years, the duo have created sketches featuring Michael Bublé, Katy Perry, Jack Black, and David Thewlis, to name a few. Their work has attracted an audience of over 270,000 followers across social media, and they continue to grow as a production company. Their debut web series DAVE AND THEO won Best Web Series at both the Oniros Film Awards NY and the Gold Movie Awards UK. Nicholas and Laurence were also nominated for Best Acting Duo.

Nicholas Burton graduated from the prestigious NIDA in 2018. He has also trained at OI West, Second City and Atlantic Theatre Company in LA and Spencer and Lloyd Harvey.
