Daniel Henshall is a storyteller, so sit down, relax and listen, because everyone else will. A smile in his voice sends the message across in the easiest of styles.

Daniel is an award-winning actor who has worked extensively internationally and in Australia. He can currently be seen in the highly popular ABC series THE FAMILY NEXT DOOR and was most recently seen in Bong Joon Ho’s MICKEY 17, the critically acclaimed ABC series THE NEWSREADER, and the award nominated feature film HOW TO MAKE GRAVY for Warner Bros, an adaptation of Australian music legend Paul Kelly’s iconic song. He will next be seen in Sophie Hyde’s feature JIMPA which premiered at the 2024 Sundance Film Festival, and the highly anticipated Apple TV+ series THE DISPATCHER opposite Patrick Brammall.

Daniel won the AACTA award for Best Actor for his starring role in Justin Kurzel’s acclaimed true crime drama Snowtown, a role which marked his film debut. Some of his other credits include Jennifer Kent’s cult classic The Babadook, Thomas M. Wright’s Acute Misfortune (AFCA and FCCA nominations for Best Actor), Kitty Green’s The Royal Hotel, Bong Joon Ho’s Okja; Paramount’s Ghost in the Shell; Apple TV+ series Defending Jacob; the film Catch The Fair One, four seasons of AMC series TURN: Washington’s Spies; and the Netflix series Clickbait. Daniel was nominated for a 2022 AACTA Award for Best Supporting Actor in the acclaimed ABC series Mystery Road: Origin. Other Australian television include; Mr Inbetween, The Beautiful Lie, and Lambs of God.
