Timothy Lee is a highly accomplished and sought-after screenwriter. He is the co-creator, writer and script producer of the Outback dynastic drama series for Netflix, TERRITORY, which rose to the global number one most watched TV show on the platform in its first week of release.

For his writing on the critically acclaimed ABC series MYSTERY ROAD, Timothy garnered an Australian Writer’s Guild Award (AWGIE) nomination for Best Screenplay in a Television Drama Series, an Australian Academy of Cinema and Television Arts (AACTA) Award nomination for Best Screenplay in Television, and a NSW Premier’s Literary Award nomination. Likewise, for his episode on the sequel, MYSTERY ROAD: ORIGIN, Timothy received an AACTA Award nomination for Best Screenplay in Television.

Further credits include the popular Stan series BUMP, on which he also script produced the third season, Netflix’s THE UNLISTED, which won the 2020 Prix Jeunesse International award for Outstanding Children’s Television, Nine Network’s DOCTOR DOCTOR, Network Ten’s Rush and ABC’s SERANGOON ROAD. As writer and script-producer for the animated series OH YUCK! Timothy was nominated for an AWGIE Award.

He is currently in development on several television projects.
