Born in Zimbabwe and raised in Australia, Tig Terera is a compassionate young writer/director focusing on human emotions and targeting the cinematic moments in stories. Tig has made music videos, TVCs & film projects in London, Paris and Singapore. Keeping his ear to the streets and staying at the forefront of Melbourne culture, highlighting bold individuals within minorities is a feature of all of his work. Tig has created several short films including Chenge, Solibet and Charlotte. His short drama, Tinashé, premiered as a finalist for Best Live Action Australian Short at Sydney Film Festival 2021 and won a Special Mention award at the 2022 Berlinale in the Generation section. Tig is currently in development for his debut TV series, Swift Street (SBS and Magpie Pictures).
