Stuart is an experienced and sought-after writer and EP who co-created, produced and led the script team on all three seasons of the critically acclaimed ABC drama TOTAL CONTROL. The series has earned several accolades over the years, including three AACTA award nominations for Best Drama Series in 2025, 2021, and 2019 in which it took home the win, as well as two Logie award nominations across 2022 and 2024. As the writer of the pilot episode, Stuart also picked up an AACTA nomination for Best Screenplay in 2021.

Stuart is also an experienced and sought-after writer and script producer, having performed both roles on the second series of the popular series THE SECRET DAUGHTER and the first two series of ABC murder mystery THE DOCTOR BLAKE MYSTERIES. He wrote for the acclaimed ABC/Sundance TV sci-fi drama CLEVERMAN, which won a Screen Producers Australia award for Best Drama Series Production in 2017. He also served as a writer on the Foxtel cult prison series WENTWORTH, which screened in over twenty countries and earned him an AWGIE Award.

Stuart’s Other television credits include HALIFAX: RETRIBUTION for the Nine Network; the ABC/Screentime dramas JANET KING and CROWNIES; the Seven Network serial HOME AND AWAY; the Channel 10 serial NEIGHBOURS; and the Seven Network/Southern Star police drama BLUE HEELERS.
