Matthew Temple ACS is a highly awarded and ACS accredited Director of Photography known for his striking images in both scripted television and features.

Most recently, Matthew shot the critically acclaimed feature LATE NIGHT WITH THE DEVIL (2023) directed by Cameron and Colin Caines, and starring David Dastmalchian. The film was nominated for 14 AACTA Awards, including Best Cinematography in a Feature Film.

Matthew’s other feature credits include ODDLANDS (2017), directed by Bruce Gladwin, and MY EYES (2024), directed by Angela How & Pauline Chan.

Matthew began his career in television, shooting three seasons of Josh Thomas’s PLEASE LIKE ME (ABC), which was nominated for 6 AACTA Awards.

Matthew continued his work, shooting across genres for noted series including: MOTHER & SON (Wooden Horse/ABC); TOP END BUB (Goalpost Pictures/Amazon); GOLD DIGGERS (Kojo Studios/ABC); FIVE BEDROOMS (Hoodlum Entertainment/Paramount+); CRAZY FUN PARK (Werner Film Productions/ABC); FRAYED (Guesswork Television/ABC); NEW GOLD MOUNTAIN (Goalpost Pictures/SBS); and MY LIFE IS MURDER (CJZ).
