Keir Wilkins is a writer and script producer who penned an episode of season two of the critically acclaimed Netflix drama HEARTBREAK HIGH – on which he additionally served as script producer – and returned to write another episode on the upcoming third season. Keir’s contributions on HEARTBREAK HIGH have assisted in earning the series several accolades over the past few years, such as a 2025 GLAAD Media Award nomination, the 2024 AACTA Award for Best Drama and, in the same category, a 2025 Logie Award nomination. Prior to this, Keir wrote on the Stan/Sundance series, TOTALLY COMPLETELY FINE for Fremantle, which earned him an Australian Writer’s Guild Award nomination for Best Television Drama Screenplay.
Keir is further credited as a writer on two seasons of the Netflix series, SURVIVING SUMMER, for Werner Film Productions, and as a co-creator and writer on the ABC Me series THE DISPOSABLES for Photoplay Films, which was selected for SXSW Sydney. Notably, SURVIVING SUMMER was nominated for Most Outstanding Children’s program at the 2023 Logie Awards. Keir has also written and been a storyliner for the Channel 5/Network Ten series, NEIGHBOURS.
Keir has script edited television pilots for Easy Tiger and Mad Ones Films as well as been part of early development on series for See-Saw, Made Up Stories, Blossom Films, Matchbox Pictures, Guesswork Television, Paramount Television and Lingo Pictures.
He previously spent two years as part of Fremantle Australia’s development team where he worked across a diverse slate of dramas and was the Assistant Script Editor on the Foxtel/Amazon miniseries PICNIC AT HANGING ROCK. He also served as a Development Consultant for Jungle Entertainment and Curio Pictures.
Keir is currently in development on several television projects.
