Erin Good is an award-winning writer and director. Good created the hit Australian fantasy digital series Jade of Death (produced by Taylor Litton-Strain) which has amassed over 4 million views online. The series was acquired by CBC and has won or been nominated for over 60 awards including; Best Drama Series from the International Academy of Web Television; Best Digital Series at the C21 International Drama Awards; and an Australian Directors’ Guild Award. The series was one of ten projects worldwide selected for the 2016 Berlinale Project Lab, and Good was selected as a writer/director for the Berlinale Talent Campus. Good is in development on a long-form adaptation of the series with support from Screen NSW. Her pilot script was shortlisted for the 2020 Sundance Episodic Lab.
Erin recently released on her new TikTok series Krystal Klairvoyant, which she co-wrote, directed and co-produced under her production company Example Content. She is currently in preproduction on a show produced by Northern Pictures.
Good previously directed a scene of children’s series In Your Dreams for Endemol Entertainment and 7TWO during her Director’s Attachment with Ralph Strasser. She was also awarded Talent Escalator Funding by Screen Australia to complete a Director’s Attachment with Kriv Stenders on the Essential Media and Entertainment production The Principal. During this attachment, Good directed the series EPK for SBS.
Erin’s short film, The Wonderful, starring Max Cullen and Richard Green, was nominated for an Australian Director’s Guild Award and won the 2014 ATOM Award and the award for Best Director at the 2015 St Kilda Film Festival. She was a 2014 recipient of the Emerging Filmmakers Fund from Screen NSW for her short film Alone (starring Shari Sebbens, Charlotte Best and Nathaniel Dean).
