Drew English is an award-winning cinematographer. Recently, he shot episodes of the hugely successful first and second season of Netflix’s HEARTBREAK HIGH, which was nominated for five AACTAs including Best Drama Series, as well as THE PM’S DAUGHTER (Fremantle/ABC), also nominated for two AACTAs, and finally the online SBS series APPETITE, which premiered at Canneseries in 2023. Drew also worked as cinematographer on the 2023 series MOTHER & SON (Wooden Horse/ABC) and anthology series EROTIC STORIES (Lingo Pictures/SBS).

Drew’s skill has been regularly recognised by The Australian Cinematographers Society (ACS). Since 2017, the Society has awarded him two Gold Tripod Awards, as well as five Gold ACS Awards. Further, he was awarded the prestigious Drew Llewelyn ACS Camerimage Scholarship in 2016 which saw him travel to Poland to attend Camerimage Film Festival, an event dedicated to the celebration and recognition of cinematographers.

Drew is currently in post-production on PLUM (Roadshow Rough Diamond/ABC), created by Brendan Cowell.
