Lily Sullivan recently completed production on The Engagement Party, starring opposite Dacre Montgomery in his directorial debut.
She will next be seen leading SOULM8TE, directed by Kate Dolan and produced by Blumhouse Productions and Universal Pictures, further expanding her international profile.
Sullivan is recognised for her psychologically nuanced performances across film and television. In 2023, she carried the feature Monolith entirely solo — a rare one-hander that premiered at the Adelaide Film Festival before screening at SXSW, earning strong critical praise for its restraint and intensity.
She then led New Line Cinema and Warner Bros.’ Evil Dead Rise, which premiered as a SXSW Headliner in 2023 and became the highest-grossing instalment of the iconic franchise, establishing her as a global screen presence.
Her other feature credits include Greg McLean’s Jungle, Lunacy, Forgive us all, I Met a Girl, Sucker, and Galore — which premiered at MIFF before screening at the Berlin International Film Festival. Her performance in Galore earned her the Best Supporting Actress Award at the Cinéma des Antipodes Saint-Tropez Film Festival.
Sullivan made her feature debut in Mental (2012), directed by PJ Hogan and starring Toni Collette and Liev Schreiber, earning both an AACTA Award nomination and a Film Critics Circle of Australia nomination.
Her television credits include Barkskins for National Geographic, The Other Guy and Romper Stomper for Stan, NBC’s Camp alongside Rachel Griffiths, and the critically acclaimed series Rake opposite Richard Roxburgh. She is widely recognised for her portrayal of Miranda in Picnic at Hanging Rock alongside Natalie Dormer. The series premiered at the 2018 Berlin International Film Festival and screened internationally on Foxtel, Amazon and the BBC.
