Greta Lee Jackson is an Australian comedian who studied improv with both the Upright Citizens Brigade and The Groundlings in the US. Originally from New Zealand, Greta got her start in comedy by writing, directing and performing at UNSW. Greta has been on the Sydney stand-up comedy circuit since placing as a state finalist in Raw Comedy 2011 and Green Faces in 2012, selling out both her show Killing It at the 2013 Sydney Comedy Festival.

Greta is one third of the all-female sketch comedy troupe Skit Box, who have achieved over 30 million hits online for viral videos including the parody music video Activewear (6.4 million views on Youtube). Skit Box’s sketch television series Wham Bam Thank You Ma’am, which Greta co-created, co-wrote and co-directed, screened on ABC2 in 2016. Skit Box performed in Foxtel’s comedy series The Slot, which featured prominent Australian Youtube stars and comedians, and screened on FOX8.

Greta recently starred as a reporter on Tonightly With Tom Ballard for ABC Comedy. Her podcast series, FAIL features comedians and actors who have learned how to embrace failure and turn it into success, or at least a funny story can be heard on @PodcastOneAU

Greta’s other Australian screen credits include In a Woman’s World (ABC2), The Elegant gentleman’s Guide to Knife Fighting (ABC) and Crazy Bastards (ABC2).
