Boaz Stark has worked extensively as a scriptwriter for over twenty-five years, including stints on internationally successful shows such as Neighbours, Home & Away, Mirror Mirror, Always Greener and Packed to the Rafters - Boaz wrote Rafters’ “Mel’s death” episode, the highest rated episode of Australian drama to date. An experienced storyliner, script editor, and script producer, Boaz has worked on animated series, had short stories published, written advertising copy, web content and had a film project, Chookie, accepted into the prestigious SpaaMart progam. Most recently, he was an executive producer, writer and director on The Horizon, a queer-focused web series which premiered on Youtube, and which became the most-watched online series made out of Australia. At the 2014 L.A. Webfest, he received four awards for The Horizon, including Outstanding Series and Outstanding Writing. He was the sole creative behind Australia’s first serialized drama produced for mobile phones, Random Place. Most recently, Boaz has been writing and directing videos for the Federal Government’s “eHealth” program. IF Magazine cited Boaz on their “hot list” of writers for 2014, and he also won Best Director of a Web Series at the 2016 US Maverick Movie Awards.
